Ardmore City Schools is proud to celebrate Daylee Alvarez, recipient of the Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship, presented by Hodge Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers! Daylee was awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her exceptional talent, leadership, and dedication to music.
Daylee has been playing viola for just five years—but she’s already made a huge impact! As Viola Section Leader for Ardmore High School Orchestra, she earned an "Excellent" rating at the OSSAA District Solo & Ensemble Contest and regularly shares her talents at school and community events.
Even more inspiring: Daylee began playing during the height of the pandemic as a virtual learner, showing resilience, self-discipline, and passion for the arts from day one.
She plans to continue her musical journey in college and dreams of teaching viola to the next generation. 🎶
