🎲 Mrs. Garrett’s class spent the past week putting their creativity, teamwork, and knowledge to the test by designing their very own board games!

Each game included specific components such as rules, game pieces, cards, and at least four major concepts learned throughout their 5th grade year. Students were able to choose the skills they wanted to highlight, making every game unique, engaging, and packed with learning fun!

We are so proud of the creativity, collaboration, and hard work these students showcased during this exciting project. Way to go, Tigers! ❤️🖤

The Ardmore Beautification Council and volunteers from Valero came out to help JES Stu-Co install our Jefferson Elementary Community Garden beside the front doors of our building. The Beautification Council generously donated the plants, border, and soil, while Stu-Co students helped plant seeds and bring the project to life.

We are incredibly thankful for our community partners and their support in helping make projects like this possible for our students and school. Our garden has become a beautiful addition to Jefferson Elementary and a welcoming space for everyone who visits. ❤️🖤
