Welcome to Ardmore Middle School
Ardmore Middle School is a place where students are transitioning from the elementary setting to the secondary setting. We are, perhaps, the “link” in the educational chain. We work closely with the elementary schools and the high school to ensure that our students are adequately prepared for high school.
While all teachers are special, AMS teachers seem to have a unique calling. Our teachers seem to have an endless supply of patience and resourcefulness which middle school students need. Our staff provides the support and discipline needed to help their students’ transition from childhood to adolescence. They also teach!
Our principal, Cindy Huddleston, joined the ACS family in 2000 as a music teacher at Franklin Elementary. In 2007 she was named as an Assistant Principal at AMS. Mrs. Huddleston took her career in another direction for a couple of years, but returned as principal of AMS in 2013. On a side note: Mrs. Huddleston is a 1976 graduate of Ardmore High School.
Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. in our cafeteria. We are currently serving breakfast and lunch free for all students.
Class begin at 8:15 a.m. to end at 3:35 p.m.
